Corvinus University of Budapest Receives AMBA Accreditation

The school, which already has EQUIS accreditation, is now double-accredited

Hungary's Corvinus University of Budapest has received AMBA accreditation, according to the AMBA website.

The school, which was awarded EQUIS accreditation at the end of 2018, is now 'double-accredited.' The school offers two Executive MBA programs along with one full-time MBA.

Corvinus is currently the only school in Hungary with AMBA accreditation. Central European University (CEU), which operated in Budapest until moving to Vienna in 2019, previously offered an AMBA-accredited MBA program in the country.

AMBA currently accredits programs at more than 260 business schools around the world. To receive accreditation, a business school needs to undergo a rigorous evaluation of factors such as teaching and curriculum design.
