AACSB International has announced that it has awarded accreditation to six new business schools. The newly-accredited business schools that offer MBA programs include the following:
Alabama A&M University's School of Business, which offers an MBA program with specializations in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Human Resources Management. The school joins a number of other AACSB-accredited business schools in Alabama, including the University of Alabama's Manderson Graduate School, Auburn University, and the University of North Alabama, among others.
The India-based Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, which offers an MBA program as well as dual-MBA options with schools such as the University at Buffalo and France's Telecom Ecole de Management. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is the 11th business school in India to receive AACSB accreditation.
China's Beijing Institute of Technology - School of Management and Economics, which is now 'triple-accredited,' meaning it has accreditation from the three main international accreditation agencies: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. The school offers a range of MBA programs in Chinese.
The Australia-based University of Wollongong, which offers a range of MBA programs. The school joins a number of other AACSB-accredited business schools in Australia, including the University of Melbourne, UNSW, and the University of Adelaide, among others.
Several other business schools were also awarded AACSB accreditation, but do not currently offer MBA programs: the Indonesia-based Bina Nusantara University and Sweden's Örebro University.
