Ten €15,000 scholarships are now available for the new EDHEC Family Business Global Executive MBA program.
The scholarships are offered through a partnerships with Campden FB, a magazine that covers private single and multifamily offices. The scholarships are open to all applicants for the February 2015 intake of the EMBA program. To apply for the program, applicants should have around ten years of work experience, with four of those being managerial experience in a family-run firm.
Beyond the typical application necessities, applicants who are interested in applying for the new scholarships will have to submit an essay on the following topic: "As a Family Business Executive, what are the three most critical challenges facing the family business model in the next 5-10 years?"
EDHEC's Family Business Global EMBA is designed to address the specific challenges of family businesses. The program is 15 months long, with modules delivered approximately once every 2 months; modules are alternatively delivered in Lille, Paris, Nice, London and Singapore. A total of nine weeks are spent on campus.
Between modules, participants can expect to work on team and virtual projects, as well as apply the skills they learn directly in the workplace.
The EMBA's curriculum covers a range of topics important to family businesses, from "Microeconomics and Operations Management" to "Wealth Management," as well as aspects of corporate governance.
The total cost of the EMBA program is €60,000.
Applications for the February 2015 intake of the Family Business Global Executive MBA program are currently open. Read more about the program on the EMBA webpage; more about the new scholarships can be found on the Campden FB website.
