9 certificates, from Business Analytics to Investments, available beginning this fall

The University of Kansas' School of Business has announced that it will add certificate options to its Working Professional MBA program, beginning this fall.

The new certificate options are akin to specializations. “Certificates demonstrate to employers your competency in specific areas of management,” said Dee Steinle, the administrative director of masters programs at the School of Business.

Nine new certificate options will be available: Foundations of Business, Business Analytics, Human Resource Management, International Business Management, Investments, Marketing, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management and Valuation.

Five course must be taken to receive a certificate. The certificates can be pursued either on a stand-alone basis or as part of KU's part-time Working Professional MBA program.
