Program to begin in the fall, will offer three start dates per year

The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah will launch a new Online MBA program beginning this fall.

The flexible program is designed to be completed in 24 months, and features the same curriculum as Eccles' in-class MBA. The program can be started at three times during the year: August, February and May.

The online MBA will feature a mix of learning formats: it will include "a combination of live and recorded study sessions, dynamic threaded discussion boards, professor-assisted visualizations and simulations, enhanced prerecorded lectures, and weekly class video conferences," according to the program webpage.

Applications are now being accepted for fall 2014. Applicants should have at least two years of work experience, and the school anticipates an average GMAT score of around 580.
