Purdue Krannert to Offer Weekend MBA Program in Chicago

16-month program aimed at science and engineering professionals

Purdue University's Krannert School of Management has announced that it will begin offering a 16-month long weekend MBA program in Chicago.

The part-time MBA is set to launch in 2015, and is aimed at professionals in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. 

The program will begin with an orientation session on Purdue's main campus in West Lafayette; classes take place in Chiago every other weekend. The program will also feature distance-learning components, mediated through "newly-available interactive technologies that allow for online course work," according to a statement.

A range of specializations will be offered, including business analytics, integrated product design, biotech, and pharmaceuticals.
