Penn State Smeal Launches MBA Concentration in Sustainability

Curriculum covers topics in energy, social enterprise, and sustainability

Pennsylvania State's Smeal College of Business has launched a new MBA concentration in Sustainability and Social Innovation.

Curriculum in the new concentration is delivered through Smeal as well as Penn State's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. Courses covers topics in sustainable business, social entrepreneurship, sustainable technologies and energy systems, and ethics, according to a Smeal statement.

Courses in the new concentration are already available for students who started this fall.

Penn State Smeal offers five other MBA concentrations, including Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.
