The Drucker School at California's Claremont Graduate University has added a concentration in information technology to its MBA program.
The new concentration will help students gain an understanding of how "companies can utilize information systems and technologies to gain competitive advantage," according to the Claremont website.
Course offerings in the new concentration range from a focus on the fundamentals of IT ("Managing Technology in the 21st Century;")to more specialized topics ("Cryptography & Computer Security," "Health Informatics.")
The concentration aims to prepare students for jobs in IT roles and technology-related startups.
