Part-time program to be taught on weekends over two years, primarily in NYC

New York's Bard College has announced it will launch a new MBA in Sustainability beginning in March 2012. It is being offered by the Bard Center for Environmental Policy and the Levy Economics Institute of Bard College.

The two-year, part-time program will be taught primarily over five intensive weekends each term: four in Manhattan, and one in Millbrook, about 85 miles north of New York City.

According to Bard, the new program will provide "a rigorous education in core business principles, as well as sustainable business practices, with a focus throughout on economics, environment, and social equity."

Bard is a small, liberal arts college based in Annandale-on-Hudson, about 100 miles north of New York City.
