Dartmouth College in New Hampshire has announced it will begin a new dual-degree program where students who have just finished a PhD program in one of 16 scientific disciplines will also be able to obtain an MBA at the Tuck School of Business. Students beginning the MBA program after a PhD can expect one term less of coursework than students in the regular MBA program.
The new PhD/MBA program will be open to applicants (current PhD students) in August 2009.
