Need experienced, practical advice on how to raise money for your startup?
Join Founder Friday on January 24th, an event organized by Seattle University’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, to learn different ways of raising funds.
Madeline Haydon, founder, and CEO of nutpods -- a plant based creamer -- will share her insights on finding investors and convincing them to invest in your company.
Haydon started her company in 2013 while earning her Leadership Executive MBA at Albers and placing as a finalist at the Harriet Stephenson Business Plan Competition run by the IEC. She and her husband Geoff launched nutpods with a Kickstarter campaign in 2013.
They brought the product line to Amazon in 2015, where it quickly became the #1 bestselling alternative creamer. After growing by 250% in 2018, nutpods raised $33 million in private capital funding last July to expand its online brand presence.
