USD vs UCI

I live and work full-time in San Diego and want to start a Fully Employed MBA program in the fall. I am torn between USD which is 15 minutes from my house and work and $20K less than UCI which is a 1 1/2 hr train ride (bc traffic is too bad to drive during the week)...

Given the prestige of each program is up and coming - is the "UC" worth the extra money and effort to get there twice a week for 3 years?

Thanks for any help...

Even though Irivine is a UC, it's not all that better than USD. In terms of the part-time programs, I'd actually say they're really competitive with each other. And Irvine is actually going too cost you more - in tuition and in transportation costs. If I were you I would totally do the USD program.

Not worth it. UCLA Anderson and Berkeley are a different story.
