Hi all,
I am an international student, planning to start my MBA this fall (2011).
I have already received admissions from Suffolk and Umass lowell
Studying at which university is good to find a job after course completion? I heard that it is very difficult for international students to find a job in US after the course is that true?
Pls advise
Thanks
Ravi

I'd say that they're about equal in terms of quality, but from I gather, since Suffolk is closer to the main Boston metro area, you might be better off there - if only that you can pound pavement easier for internships and jobs.
As far as international students finding jobs in the US after graduation, it is pretty tough, especially if you don't go to a top tier school. But that's nothing new.
What's your career background? I think your success in finding a job ultimately depends on how your profile aligns with what's needed in the market.

Hi Ralph,
Thanks for your response. I am a IT professional with 5 years of experience from india. I am planning to do MBA as it would certainly boost up my career. I currently have admissions form both suffolk and Umass lowell. As you suggest that quality of education is same in both the unis, Umass is a little luring because of its low tuition fee :) and again the internships and job after the course completion are equally important so i am confused to decide between these two :((
Cheers
