Can someone please offer some advice? I am currently a programmer/analyst for a So Cal financial firm and I make over 115K seven years out of college. I don't like my job anymore, but I obviously make good money. So I have been mulling over what to do next. At one point I went through the hassle of applying to law school and taking LSAT, but I just ended up rejecting the offers I received. I graduated from Cal Poly, Pomona --not a prestigious school, but a very good school for what I chose as a career (I cared so much about my SATs that I hit on a girl during the break). Anyhow, I am thinking of pursuing an MBA. But I don't want to bother if it is not going to lift my income level anymore than I could do on my own, so I am under the impression that I need to go to one of the high-ranked schools. But I don't know if I should even bother going through the whole application process if I am just going to end-up at a mid-tier school. So what do you think? Can someone who went to Cal Poly, Pomona, earned a 3.3 GPA, but who also scored in the 93rd percentile on the LSAT, get into an MBA program that would be worth loosing 230K over and acquiring 75-150K worth of debt?
Should I pursue an MBA
