Hello everybody,
I'm from Brazil and I'd like to do an MBA or a post-graduation course in USA, in California if its possible, but i'm having some problems to find a course in the area i wanna do (actually i found, but it was too short - only 2-3 weeks). I believe u call it as Event and meeting planning or Event Management.
Can anybody help me about that?
Thanks to all,
Rodrigo

Hello Rodrigo,
3 week course is definitely not an MBA!
Here on this site you have all sort of information about MBA courses in the US, if it's really an MBA you wanna do. As you might know, it is very costly to do an MBA program, if you are interested in any kind of post grad course and don't need an MBA, maybe you should opt for a less expensive solution than an MBA.
Let me know! I surely can give you some more ideas and infos about MBA if you need!

Hello Adriana, I've seen a Marketing MBA at UCLA and it was not too expensive. But, the biggest problem is that i'm not finding the course i want (only those with 3week). I found it in several countries (canada, england, australia), but it has been really hard to find it in USA. About the course, i dont mind if its a MBA or a post-graduation course, what i really want is a good course in the Event area (how to make, to plan, to execute...).
Thanks a lot =) . By the way, are u brazilian?

Hi Rodrigo,
I came accross two programs which are not specialized in event management, but you have "event management" among the concentrations. Would that be fine for you? Have a look:
It's George Washington University School of Business, and University of Findlay College of Business.
I don't know what those MBA are worth though, don't think they are ranked, correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello Rodrigo,
It's true that are not many programs. Besides those two mentioned above by MasterXX, I only found one more:
Johnson & Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island.
But still, more than your 3 week summer course.
My dad is Brazilian by the way ;)
