Harvard say that there is no minimum work experience - they have 3 criteria for deciding, apart from the First degree; TOEFL; references; 5 essays(http://www.hbs.edu/mba/admissions/admissioncriteria.html) - i find it pretty vogue.
bare in mind, that this school is very popular, and only 12% of the +- 8500 applicants gets admitted. your high GMAT score and your GPA are in the right ball park. see this statistics page for some more information:

Dear Justice 2106
We have very similar background: over-educated/under experienced BSchool applicant.
I am a qualified foreign lawyer with 1year of work experience currently in an LLM program at a top 10 school. My GPA is also somewhat similar to yours. Suprisingly there are many BSchool that consider "early career applicants" like us.
THe only difference is that we won't be the 23 yo college grad. I'm 26 (probably the same age as you) and like you, am not interested in BSchools other than top 10 (minus Stern, Hass). From what I know, your GPA/GMAT/Profile all seem to qualify you for top 5 BSchools, but than the tricky part is that it is a big lottery, even more so than LSchools. One one hand, because lawyers are underrepresented you could be in demand, but on the other, your "uniquness" may be a disadvantage. I'm in the same shoe as you. Have you applied in the final round for 2009 or are you applying for 2010 entry?
I thought Consulting firms are interested in hiring JDs. Bain/BCG/MK had recruiting drives at my law school. Good job on the GMAT. I haven't taken mine yet. Will prob do it after the Bar Exam. Be interested to share thoughts about application strategy with you. Write me a PM if you wish.
