I think Johns Hopkins by a stretch. Georgetown is long established and sill middle of the road; Hopkins have just launched their school with a $100m endowment and another $100m to be raised in the next 3 years. Hopkins is a huge brand and I couldn't concieve of them not becoming a top 10 school within 5 years... I believe they are looking at a 700+ GMAT for the new full time course, but not sure what the requirement for part-time is, but I imagine its lower...

I will say definitely Georgetown MBA... not only its a brand name but the program has a renowned reputation worldwide and focuses on international MBA which is definitely a plus in todays world. Whereas, John Hopkins is not even accredited yet...

Its a good point that I have raised with Hopkins. The reason that its unacredited is because it is a new full time courses (only full time courses are eligible for accreditation) and it takes 5 years to get the acreditation. The new dean is on the board of the acreditation ctte. so I cant see a problem in achieving this.
I think Gtown is great and you will do well from there, but looking to the future I think Hopkins will be world class. They have a world class brand (ranked 13th best uni in the world), $200m to set up a new business school and are currently on the largest faculty recruitment drive in the history of US Business schools.

Georgetown is already in top 20 according to US News... And I couldn't even find John Hopkins in any big ranking site like US News, business week, financial times, wall street journal... This is once in a lifetime decision and not something I would take risk on. I had say go to Georgetown...

Hopkins cant be ranked until its been accredited and that cant happen until the 5th anniversary of the full time course which starts next fall. Im not pushing Hopkins per se, I simply believe that theres added value in going there as it seems likely that the school will go top ten or higher; its ranked 13th in the world as an institution and if you look at the schools around it in the table they are all similarly ranked in the B-School tables (those that have them that is...). The data is statisticly significant.... http://www.usnews.com/articles/education/worlds-best-colleges/2008/11/20/worlds-best-colleges-and-universities-top-200.html
Hopkins has a similar methodology to INSEAD and LBS and I would expect it to rank accordingly when eligible. I actually attended IMD in Switzerland, which again is unique. Georgetown is good but generic, its no dofferent to 100 other half decent schools in the US.
