Congratulations on getting accepted. Are you living up in the Portland/Salem area? Are you planning to work up there when you finish? What are you doing the MBA for?
I ask these things not to be annoying, but because this is a regional school without much of a national reputation. I think Oregonians will be the only ones who have heard of it. Outside of that area, any local reputation the school has (good or bad) diminishes. For what it's worth, it is AACSB accredited.
But there are advantages to going to a "regional" school, particularly with a good internship program and good links to local companies. If you're gonna stay in the area, then it makes much more sense. What are their job placements like?

Thank you for your insightful questions. As a current student at Willamette?s Atkinson program, I completely understand your concerns as I was in a similar position an year ago. As stated by ?Evan2007?, Willamette University is accredited by AACSB. However, Willamette is also accredited by NASPAA, making it one of the only two programs in the world to achieve dual accreditation. This solidifies Willamette?s commitment to providing a value of time, money, and effort. A few recognitions for the Atkinson MBA are as follows:
? Ranked as a top 75 MBA program for return on investment for alumni by "Forbes Magazine"
? This April, "Inc. Magazine" named the Willamette MBA "new ventures/venture investing" course as one of the 10 best entrepreneurship courses in the country. Other schools with named programs included Stanford, Harvard, Northwestern, Chicago, Ohio State, Babson and Illinois.
? The "Princeton Review" ranked Willamette University's MBA one of the top 15 MBA programs for preparing students for a career in Marketing.
Now about my personal experiences; coming to Atkinson was a really good decision on my part. My past education has absolutely no relation to business administration and Willamette has provided me the perfect foundation through their practical application based training to succeed upon my graduation. You will get lots of opportunities to work on real-life projects that include business, government, and not-for-profit organizations.
Willamette also pays high importance to relationships by proactively reaching out to alumni to maintain a strong connection with them. This not only helps learning about past Atkinson graduates but also establishing a long term link with the company, which leads to future internships and job opportunities.

Hey Sid,
Thanks for your interesting response. I am plnning to apply for this school this year tough my score is low. I do not even have strong acads to support me with. I have a total work ex of more tha 3 years and professional achievements really stand higher for me than my acads. As you are a current student, can you tell me how is the scholarship scenario and how much is the total cost for a two year program.
I have also heard that that this college really is for new grads, its that true? Is the average work ex of the students 1 year?
