Both universities are excellent, it really depends on which course you want to go for. Both universities are excellent in research and both business schools are of international quality.
Some might opt for warwick as it has more links with the industry, yet this is not valid any more as Lancaster has already solved this issue and its attracting all big companies into all programmes.
As I said both uni's are in the top 10 as a while and for business, both are strong competitors, so whichever u chose, will exccellent on your CV. By the way, Lancaster is operating also in India so this would be an advantage for you when you return back as it is becoming increasingly well know in India.
Hope this helps
Best of luck

Honestly I do not know about the courses you mentioned, yet I am a graduate of ITMOC. ITMOC is an excellent programme, yet it is more into consulting and managing change in IT projects. It is taught by excellent professors and 2 modules are taught by Accenture and SAP.
The other courses you have mentioned are excellent especially the marketing analytics since lancaster is known to be in the top 3 for marketing in the UK.
Regarding the placement after graduation, you can ask a professor at Lancaster and you can get further insights.
Any degree in the management school will get you somewhere in the market.
Cheers

Can you suggest anyone faculty whom i can contact for the same?
Apart from this, what are your views on accommodation in Lancaster? Whether to opt for on-campus or off-campus accommodation......
Currently, i am taking 550-600 pounds per month as my cost of living (including accommodation)....what are your views on this?

in 2003 till 2005 Lancaster finished building what was regarded as the biggest dormatory project in the UK, the buildings are very well designed and rooms are well equiped. Here is a link which gives you pretty good information about the facilities http://www.lancs.ac.uk/sbs/accommodation/pgaccomguide.pdf
I haven't tried living off-campus, as I found living on campus affordable and very close to lectures especially on rainy days.
As for professors, from the tip of my head, you can talk to Professor David Brown who teaches strategy. Also you can contact Dr. Ian Cammak who teaches project management.
Just go to LUMS website and put their names in the search box and you will get their emails and contact details.
Finally, just would like to share with you this link to see the overall rating of the university: http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/story.asp?sectioncode=26&storycode=412032&c=1
If you need anything, pls let me know

Ziad,
As per your suggestions I had a word with the faculty members of the University. Dr. Didier provided me lot of information about the course. Thanks a lot for suggesting this. However, I was unable to reach out to any one who is currently doing any of these courses.
If you know anyone from the current batch then please provide me his or her contact details. I have sent you a friend request on Facebook too for the same.
Thanks,
Sachin
