I think you;d be better off asking those schools for this information, rather than an MBA website. I assume that most graduates from those MSc programmes do not go directly into management positions.

Hard to tell. The Warwick programme is certainly better presented. I think Henley and Lancaster have similar programmes.

I think you would be the best person to judge the course content being an IT candidate. But what are your expectations from MSc in IT Management course ? and do you have any work ex in IT?

Sorry i missed your previous post. Since you have 2 years of work exp, I would suggest that you wait for another 1-2 years and go for an MBA program instead of going for an MSc in IT Management and it may not suite your profile.

Dear Pooja
Congratulations on receiving an offer for our MSc Information Systems Management & Innovation.
I thought I would respond to your initial question about career prospects.
Graduates from this course have gone on to work in various positions, mainly managers, analysts, consultants and researchers, and in various companies like Ernst & Young, Citigroup, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Google, Elf Petroleum Nigeria Limited, and KPMG.
As part of the WBS experience you will receive excellent career support, from the Business School?s Personal and Careers Development (PCD) team, the award winning University Careers & Skills service http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/careers, and through opportunities provided by each course team. Last year over 200 top employers attended careers fairs, presentations and skills workshops at WBS. There are also excellent links through our academics? consultancy and research, and through the external project arrangements offered for this course.
If you have any further questions about this course, please email us at [email protected]
With kind regards

Hi Duncan
The award is the Matrix Award which is a quality standard for advice and guidance services. Details of the standard are available at http://www.matrixstandard.com/. Our last inspection was in May 2011.
Hope that helps.

Dude, when you do a technical course, make sure that you do technical stuff. This degree involves a lot of writing and i would imagine a career in technical column of local publishers would be more suitable. Else you can write novel or blog in nowadays fashion.
Choose the course that you need to you proper programming and maths.

Thanks for the link wbsmasters. This award is an accreditation which is held by 98 university-sector careers service organisations in the UK, the vast majority. I had misunderstood, and had wondered if it might be either an award for business school careers services, or an exclusive award given to only to outstanding careers services. It doesn't really seems to be worth mentioning if almost every university has this accreditation.

@wbsmasters
May i ask in what field did those students get a student ?
As in , what would their designations/positions have been after post-graduation at Warwick ?
