Hi,

My query is regarding the UK visa.

My question is about the funds to be maintained for 28 days prior to visa application. By the time I file my visa application, I'd have held the funds for 8-10 days only. Since I'm close to my term begining, I wish to apply for visa asap. Is there a way around this ?

I had not heard of ATAS so googled it and visited the top page. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/academic-technology-approval-scheme
It is a scheme controlling access to military technologies. I am unsure why this was not evident to you. It is not needed for an MBA.

It has to be 28 days before submitting your application online. Some people in my country were asked to send updated bank statements and this delayed their visas. A lot of people think the submission date is the biometrics date (the day you go for photo capturing). However, this is wrong. The money has to be in your bank account for 28 days before clicking on "submit" on the ukvi website.
