Hi,
I have 8 years of IT exp in Banking and Financial Services. I have UK Tier-2 ICT VISA with tentative travel in Sep month for min 2 years in London, UK. I am planning to do MBA with good accreditation to enhance my profile prospectus. I want to invest 12-16 months for degree completion.
Can someone please if the option is to go with online degree or part-time degree? And with regards to degree valuation and accreditation please suggest list of available MBA degree part-time or online for 2022 (Apr-July) admissions entry?
Thanks

The important difference is the school, not the format. If you are in the UK, a cost-effective option is the government-funded Senior Leader Apprenticeship which many schools offer including Cranfield, Henley and Manchester. e.g. https://www.cranfield.ac.uk/som/postgraduate-apprenticeships

Thanks for the response Duncan, really appreciate it.
I have analysed programmes related to Apprenticeship, however, I see below dependancies which needs to be considered before enrolling into these courses-
- Line Managers or Employers have to take undertaking
- Most of these offerings take over 2 years to complete
- My work location is in London
As I would be working for a Banking Client under a consultancy using intra company transfer contract visa I am unsure if client line managers will give undertaking.
Kindly request you to advise any other offerings (part-time or online) which can be completed under 2 years using self-funds with a cost-effective budget option ?

I suggest the Warwick and Henley distance learning MBAs, then. They have local teaching options, which you can complete abroad if you leave the country. The Manchester Global MBA is also an option.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion, Duncan.
I see these courses have triple crown accreditations.
As we prepare to invest 30K GBP and around 30 months of time how do you see career progression for these courses? Will we be able to have privelages w.r.t alumini access, placement assistance.. ?
Post course completion can we look out for new work oppurtunities in UK using this degree as such or is it typically only useful as a profile booster in my current organization?

A full time degree will be better for new opportunities. A part time MBA is obviously helpful, and the career data in the FT ranking shows you typically outcomes.

It would be helpful if we knew your specific career goals.
