% of Students from the Subcontinent

Daryll

Hi all, I get the impression that some of the MBa programs discussed on this board have rather high proportions of international students from the Indian subcontinent. I've been trying to find something on various schools websites indicating the international students breakdown but have been unsuccessful.

Can anyone give me a rough idea on the number of persons from the Indian subcontinent in the following Mba Programs?

Bradford, Aston, Birmingham

Thanks

The short answer is that the numbers are high, but as you've found, It's tricky to find this info. The three schools you mentioned draw largely international cohorts - more than 90% of their students are international.

The schools generally group international students by continent - so Aston's cohort is made up of just over 80% of students from Asia. That's as detailed as the reports get. Of the Asian students, I'd guess that a large majority are Indian or Pakistani - with a rising percentage of students from China. This is probably generally true of the other schools you mentioned as well.

The higher-tier UK schools, however, are more balanced. Cambridge, for example, draws a good chunk of its cohort (about a quarter) from North America. LBS draws many students from the continent.
