Hi, I need some advice. I’m staying in Singapore and is looking to pursue MBA. I had narrow down to these 2 UK universities with the 3 crown :
MMU - Distance learning MBA (affordable price)
Uni of Birmingham - In campus at SG school, flew in lecturers from UOB ( double the price of MMU)
My Goals:
- Recognition
- Career Advancement
- Mid career change?
Concern:
- Can I cope with distance learning?
- Tight schedule for In-campus with one week straight of lecture for one module.
MMU or Birmingham

Birmingham is, obviously, a much better university, business school and network in Singapore than MMU. I'm not sure why these are the two schools you are focussing on. By whom do you want to be recognised? Which industry of firms do you want to adance in? I suggest you use LinkedIn to see which schools have the best network for your goals. Don't rule out US schools, like Baruch and Chicago, which operate in Singapore.

Are you looking for something that has on-campus courses as well? What are your reasons for not looking at the excellent Manchester program there?
