MBA Preparation

Hi all,

I am heading for FT MBA at Glasgow BS this September. As I have some extra time to burn till September, what would be on your opinion the best way to prepare for MBA class? Maybe some light reading from some MBA reading list or going through some core subject texts?

Appreciate a lot!

Cheers, BB

Make sure that you are ready for the courses that require a lot of math. Brush up on the technical side of accounting, statistics, and economics. I read a lot of business literature before starting my MBA, and I wish that I had reviewed the fundamentals of math and statistics a bit more.

Get into shape, and work on the witty banter and pick up lines for the chicks that you meet (or guys).

Get a decent wardobe, computer (I would suggest the Asus UL30, Lenovo x201s or the MacBook Pro - all geared towards a longer battery life), blackberry/iphone, iPad (if you really want one) and good shoes.

Hi,

thanks a lot! I will concentrate my prep around core subjects! I supose the cores are the most difficult, on average, where people spend most of the time?

Cheers, B
