MBA at HULT

Mullagiri

Hi All,
I am Pramod Mullagiri, I got admitted to Hult International Business School - formerly Dr.Little School of Management, head office at Boston. The university is ranked 31 in EIU and has its presence in London and Dubai. The campus at London is a new one and begins its operation from 2009. I am in a dilemma whether to go for it or not for London campus ?

It really depends what preparations they're making for the new campus. Is it possible to find out who'll be teaching there, whether there is any variation in the programme, etc.? I myself once did a degree at Oxford which was new the year I started, and although it was in many ways perfectly satisfactory, is was clear it would take a year or two to bed down. Obviously, with an established template such as the Hult MBA that might not be an issue. My advice would be to talk to them directly. They'll be keen to encourage you to take up a place at the new campus, but I'm sure they'll be honest with you, too. Just make sure to ask the necessary questions.

And regardless, of you end up deciding Boston's a safer bet it not exactly the end of the world. In fact its great! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time whichever you go for.

My understanding is that most of the faculty will be the same across Boston/Dubai & London. So really the major issue is the careers service support you will receive and the links they have with local corporates. My recommendation would be you talk to their careers services team to see what they say. If not convincing I would go to Boston and just take your electives in London.
