I am seriously considering applying for EMBAs as I want to move into senior management at work. I am working on the care sector. I seen that Loughborough EMBA is triple accredited. I am located very closely to Loughborough so this would be very convenient, however I notice that it is not ranked on FT etc. I was hoping for opinions on whether this EMBA would help me with my goal or I should look elsewhere?

I think that while rankings are one key factor, the other factors listed here could easily outweigh this, especially considering that Loughborough is still highly regarded and, as you say, triple-accredited. Apologies for the vague advice but those are my two cents. :)

What are your goals? If you look at traditional EMBA roles, a ranked school will have better connections to mainstream MBA recruiters. If you are interested in the care sector, the learning may matter more than the school. Either way, I would look at an EMBA option that makes the government pay most of the fee through the senior leadership apprenticeship. Cranfield could be an option.

Thank you. I am eligible for scholarship and also possibly SLA, either way, I won’t be paying more than 13-17k to study.
I plan to move into a regional director post, with the goal of getting to board level within the next 5-10 years.
I do not think I could have enough time off work as Cranfield would require.
