Hey dude,
So you can do an MBA from the UK by applying and getting accepted :)

The process is no different than applying to any other MBA (Except maybe you will pay in pounds).

Other than that I don't really recommend doing an online MBA, since the main point of the MBA is to get you a better job, and online MBAs can't really help you much there.

Best,
Yaron

I really understand why many people feel that the online MBA isn't useful because the point of an MBA is to find work. That's certainly important for people who want to make major changes of role, industry, country or all three. However, when we look at the facts, we find that the best online MBA have excellent outcomes, as the FT ranking shows: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/online-mba-ranking-2015

Students in those online MBAs are, on average, getting a 30%-plus increase in salary without the risk or lost income that comes from full-time study. The lower costs are also notable, especially at schools like Illinois, Bradford, Durham or Warwick where the full-time MBA is much more costly.

PS Each of these schools will have their own admissions processes, but there can be differences from their full-time MBA admissions. For example, some schools have local centres in outher countries which can play an important role in admissions.

Well, compared to the 150% salary increase (plus signing bonus) in a brick and mortar MBA, and the prestige and contacts and career services which are not really quantified, and networking that comes with it, I'd still say that any halfway decent MBA would be out the best online MBA any day, both in terms of quality and ROI.

Cheers,

The FT ranking does not show that 150% increases, or even 100%, are typical for an full-time MBA. Even in the top 100, only one school has that outcome: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-ranking-2015 The average is a still-impressive 91%.

However, that misses the point that the online and on-campus courses appeal to different students. On-campus study is simply not compatible with many students' life goals and commitments. It can also stretch their financial resources, especially if they have families to support. If the applicant above is asking for help finding an online MBA, I think it's more effective to help rather than tell him that an online MBA won't help him. If you offered most online MBA students a way to get a 30% pay rise with little risk and or domestic disruption, then they would be happy.
