Hi Friends,
Can any of you please give me an idea about the Bradford Test. What is the pattern of the exam? The practice test which they have given doesn't seem to be like a B-school entrance test.. its more of a primary school test...
could you please guide me.. where to study from?
Thanks

bradford test is simple
2 sections
one is same as ielts reading section
and another is that of maths, simple problems to check your analytical skills.

Whn does Bradford send the CASS letters...? They will be sending this at the end. Mostly in July.
Also what is the standard of this Bschool and its students? Bradford holds a good reputation world wide, moreover it has AMBA and EQUIS accreditation
Is it well recognised globally and also the avg work ex of students here? Average work exp was around 30 to 32 years. But I suppose this year Bradford will see more young students around 27 - 29.

@Rushabh: I don't think work ex can be directly mapped with the age of a person. 30-32 years avg age doesn't guarantee considerable amount / high quality of work ex. More stress should be on percentage of working professionals...many schools have 2-3 yrs experienced students who were jobless when included in the cohort. Be cognizant about the difference
@Yagna: Bradford is well reputed in UK and Europe. I had the opportunity of talking to a senior professional in BT who is a Bradford grad and a Brit. He highly recommends the school.
In India also, recruiters recognize the degree as a valuable one.
Job scenario is gloomy in UK and MBA recruitment is at an all time low. Unless you have strong networks it might be difficult to get a job in UK at present. Things might improve in 2011 though!
All the best!

Hello,
I too have an offer from Bradford's MBA program for Sept 2010. I also have offers from Aston, Birmingham, Sheffield and few other but, have decided to join Bradford for various reasons.
Arguably Aston sound better then Bradford, but the veracity is both are of same standard.
Aston is costlier then Bradford and the cost of living in Bradford is relatively cheaper then Aston.
Bradford's MBA is known for its discipline no other university is known for such reputation.
For those who want to enjoy cosmopolitan culture, then I must say, Bradford is not a place. University of Bradford conducts various events for the fun of its students, but one can not find even the hue of Cosmo culture.
I have talk to Alumni of Bradford, each of them strongly recommend Bradford?s MBA program. They say they are applying every knowledge they gained at the University.
Anyways, MBA is a personal choice. All the best to all.
Eager make new friends are Bradford.

Thank you for replying.
I do not think AACSB accreditation has anything to do with US VISA.
Consider the case of University of Victoria (Canada). It?s MBA program is affiliated only to EQUIS. This does not mean US will not consider the Students from Victoria.
Perhaps you can share your research on this, I would be glad.
Yes, Leeds is not a 'happening' place. I have mentioned the same in my previous post.

had read this which i find kind of true
"The main disadvantage of the Bradford MBA is that it doesn't have a AACSB accreditation. So, if you have any plans of finding employment in USA then Bradford isn't the best option. However, you can always join a company in India or UK and move to US as a L1 employee. But H1 might be difficult to obtain with a Bradford MBA.
As far as reputation is concerned, Bradford is pretty well known amongst Indian recruiters, especially in the IT sector.
The university offers a course which I've heard is pretty good in quality and treats international students well.
This is a good choice for a low cost MBA and defnitely not a place where you just buy a piece of paper with money.
""
and also i belive bradford may get this year aacsb..
and please university of victoria.. lol.. who knows that ? its like i am telling you bangor uni does not hav amba in uk ? hav u heard it ? lol..

I am planning to go for Bradford MBA Sept' 2010. Can you share your experience by answering a couple of questions:
1) How are the studies? and teaching faculty?
2) How is the place to live in?
3) Is MBA from Bradford worth the money or for that matter any other UK universities?
4) What are the job prospects?

Does it seem very easy to get into Bradford ??
What is the % of EU students or NON asian students here?
Bcoz I guess an mba CLASS MUST HV A GOOD MIX OF STUDENTS FROM ALL NATIONALITIES SO THAT THERE IS GOOD SCOPE OF INTERACTION THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
