Hiya,
I am looking into an MBA in the UK as I live in the UK. My course criteria is full time, 1 year, strong experience in marketing, with a course approach that it practical as well as academic. Which ones in the UK are the best from the ones above. From what I have experienced, they tend to be finance/consultancy focused and very academic. I want to get a good balance between top tier school and suitability to my criteria.
I have not included Said nor Oxford, if I should I would appreciate that info also.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
P

Many thanks for the quick reply! If you could give any info on the reasons why that would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if anyone has any insight on how the course is taught that would also be appreciated.

100% true...
As far as marketing is concerned I would say,
Cranfield=Warwick > Cass >>> Aston
Both Warwick and Cranfield has got excellent faculty in marketing..the average age of the cranfield MSc-Strategic Marketing cohort is 31 years while in Warwick MSc Marketing in Strategy cohort its 24.5 years.
I dont know about Cranfield faculty, but the main lecturer in the Warwick MSc Marketing is Dr Colin Egan (Coca-Cola Chair in Marketing) and Dr Nigel Piercy (visiting faculty from Columbia Business School); both of them also teaches in Warwick MBA and Warwick MIM (MSc Management).
Along with very good profile + SOP you need:--
- to say really smart things at the telephonic interview for Cranfield programme...mine lasted for full 40 mins; not Toefl cut-off
- to have a min. 115 out of 120 in TOEFL iBT for Warwick programme; no interview.
[* Toefl is only for international students]
