In the FT rankings, it is 4th out of 15 UK schools when it comes to % of the most recent class employed after three months. Lancaster alumni rank its careers service 10th out of the 15 UK schools: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-rankings-2012

This is right - but keep in mind that the most recent FT rankings are based on surveys from the alumni class of 2008, so that they can see career growth over several years. LUMS does not make their employment data publicly available, but BusinessWeek says that 60% of the class of 2011 had jobs by graduation. Another 30% got jobs within three months after graduation. Just looking at these numbers in raw terms, that's competitive with Oxford and Cambridge - although average salaries at LUMS are about $30k less, on average.

The salary numbers are based on the graduating class of three years ago, but I had thought that 'the most recent class' meant just that...

Hi JK,
I'm going along with what's already been said about the rate of LUMS student's employment being competitive with the likes of Oxford and Cambridge in the UK. Can't really help with salary figures but I can tell you that the MBA runs a special career advancement programme. The programme runs throughout the MBA and draws on the learning and experiences from many other parts of the MBA teaching to help students move their careers forward in the best way relevant to them. It has a Mindful Manager series and the typical one to one CV advise sessions but what I hear most from students is how helpful the mindful manager series is. During their last sessions they've had advice from Kevin Roberts, CEO Worldwide of Saatchi & Saatchi, who visited them from January to August.
