@ Jennifer

80% of the UK business schools have Sep-Oct intake and some schools will have jan or April intake. In that case you can luk for Aston or Ashridge either of this has got jan intake but checkup with their experience requirement. but if your not meeting their experience criteria you can wait for 10 more months and try for Sep 2011 intake. bcoz there are business schools with nill experience requirement & 3 yrs experience requirement, so y u wan to waste ur experience in such case. Finally its upto you to decide.

MFA (Master in Fine Arts) is a chop-shop...This degree is heavily drawn from the psychology and essentially not a business school degree...I know the Harvard Business School Review ran an article saying its a 'new MBA'...its so untrue...you have no idea what people learn at a top notched b school...much much more that what wonderful things the MFA claims that its gonna bring onto this planet. It can never replace MBA. All b school degrees MBA/MSc/BSc get optimum dosage of psychology, increasing the dose beyond this level will convert it into a humanities degree.

The only degree that can come near to an MBA is MSc Management. Specialised MSc degrees like MSc Finance or MSc Strategic Marketing or MSc Financial Maths/Econometrics are super sexy courses for people who have the balls to dig deeper into one of many aspects of what MBAs learn...many chaps drop out in middle since they cant handle the difficulty level.

This is my last post in this forum so lemme elaborate, a good education is all the money you have in your bank. The opportunity cost of studying at a world class business school never equals anything else other than the CFA exam (again if you have the courage cz thats the toughest exam on this planet)

All the best.
