It isn't a widely recognised business school, but neither does it appear to be a visa shop or outright scam. So it probably does offer genuine distance-learning MBAs, albeit ones not widely recognised or respected.

I studied with Brighton School of Business and Management. It is solely a distance learning online college, it does not do classroom courses nor does it do degree courses. As it is a distance learning online college is does not get involved on the visa process, as students study online distance learning from their own country, students are not required to come to the UK. The college offers professional development courses mainly in Business and Management courses, which are accredited by Edexcel(btec) and the CQI (Chartered Quality Institute). I studied an HND in Business and Management ? the tutor support is very good, and they make you complete the assignments thoroughly and in the appropriate depth. I went onto study the third year top up to a degree, and studying with Brighton School of Business and Management gave me a strong foundation and taught me how to study to go onto a degree. I would recommend this college for people who are unable to study in the more conventional classroom way.

I completed Award in Event Management course in October 2010. They told me to wait for 3 months for the certificate to be processed. A year and a half later, I lost my patience and started sending desperate messages. I have contacted the school repeatedly only to hear promises. I thought it was just a scam and contacted Edexcel to check whether the school was really an accredited one. Their reply was that it was accredited, but they didn't deal with students' problems. In desperation, I wrote to various authorities dealing with distance education. In March 2012, I finally received my certificate. It took only a year and a half of waiting plus writing desperate messages plus making my experience public on the Internet. A good ending with a lesson to learn.

Please be reassured that Brighton School of Business and Management is an accredited online distance learning company. This can be confirmed by Edexcel ? our accreditation body. Our centre number is: 14955. Tatiana certificate was sent to her, to the address that she provided us with in Japan. At the time, there were problems in Japan due to the Fukushima disaster, so she may not have received the certificate. She could have contacted us, and we would have sent a replacement certificate. If she requires a replacement certificate, she can contact us, and we can arrange for a replacement certificate to be sent. We are a credible organisation, but we cannot control nuclear disasters in Japan!!.

It may be accredited for EdExcel's non-degree programmes, but it doesn't have an accredited MBA in the sense used on forums like this one http://www.find-mba.com/accreditations

Brighton School of Business and Management DOES NOT advertise ANY MBA courses. Our Company did not start adding posts on the forum about MBA courses - we have just answered posts regarding accreditation when it was being questioned. So, yes we are accredited to offer HNDs in Business and Management, Level 5 and Level 7 Diploma courses in Marketing, Human Resources, Purchasing, Events Management, Project Management and Quality. They are all accredited by Edexcel (Btec), ABE, CTH and CQI. We DO NOT offer any Degree Courses OR advertise that we offer such courses.

As like Tatyana above i am waiting almost 8 months for certification for my HND Course. Two emails have been sent to BSBM regarding the issue but it is still not sent. This aside i had fantastic help from my Online Tutor and i feel the course was a good basis before heading on to do a degree course.
