Hey sandeep. Even i have shortlisted Univ of Bath but for the Msc mgmt program. I have friends who are studying in UCL,Leeds,Nottingham and they all advised me to pick any one between warwick, bath, manchester. Warwick is the best out of the lot.
Having said that Bath graduates have good job prospects and mgmt has a good scope there.

hi Richa and Sandeep.
I am in UK since past 3 years now and did my MBA from Bradford University in 2008-09. I have friends who joined Lancaster, Birmingham and Strathclyde MBA in 2008-09 it self. however i believe that among all, Bradford School of Management is the best buy as most of my batch mates who did MBA with me are working in the UK with a starting of 35K+ that too at the time of recession. However the highest paid was British with a starting salary of 110,000 GBP PA.
Recently FT 2010 ranking has placed Bradford University School of Management at 9th in the UK. Please see the link below

my skype id is mamitagarwal7 do add me if you would like more info abt MBA or Masters in the UK.

Hi Mamit,
How do rate Bradford to be better than Lancaster, Bath or Strathclyde today. Peope who joined in 2009 might be placed well. But 2012 is different with changes in VISA regulations, FT ranking and changing job scenario. Don't you think Lancaster a better choice either to work in UK or outside in Asian and middle east countries.

Hi Aftab,
To be honest in terms of University credibility in the UK market all three universities enjoy almost similar reputation, so in terms of branding you would get similar returns (where i believe Lancaster has slight edge. But if you compare other aspects such has modules, investment, location etc i personally believe Bradford could be a better option as they offer very wide range of electives, with an option of doing 1-2 modules in other European B-school, secondly the fees is less as compared to other two, bigger city than Lancaster, low living cost etc etc. Getting a job is very much dependent on the candidate as no school assure any employment.

There's a lot of information higher up on this page: why not start with those universities? I don't think a good MBA, which prepares you for MBA-level roles, will leave with any time for part-time work.

Hi,
based on your university list, i understand that you may not be having any work experience as of now. In my opinion, I dont think any of these universities will help you in your career progression, since you have good IELTS score and in case you have good grades at your UG degree, I would suggest a MSc degree from a reputed B-School. as that will be a better value for money.

I would suggest that you wait for another 1 year and take your GMAT as well if possible and then go for your MBA. As you can target some of the FT ranked universities as well with 3+ years of experience.
And yes as Duncan said, good MBA degree and PT job can not go hand in hand, so you have to arrange your funds before you plan any thing.
Thanks in advance...</blockquote>

No, you won't be able to do a full-time MBA at a good school and have a part-time job. Most schools won't allow it, and you won't have any spare time. Perhaps study part-time in India? 15 lacks can get you into a good accredited programme. Don't waste your money on programmes like Coventry which don't require work experience.

Thanks Duncan, Let me know apart from Coventry which is the Best School you would suggest me to do MBA Degree.
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks in Advance.
