I guess you know that it's getting late to apply. I suggest:-
Eastern Michigan University (MI)
Middle Tennessee State University (TN)
University of Tennessee--Martin (TN)
Minnesota State University--Mankato (MN)
University of Kansas (KS)
North Carolina Central University
Drake University (IA)
University of New Orleans (LA)
University of Nevada--Reno (NV)
Texas A&M University--Commerce (TX)
I also suggest you apply now, but tell the schools that you will work on your verbal score and re-take the GMAT.

So its most likely for my application to get rejected on the basis of my verbal score ?do i stand a chance atleast in the late 40s univs in the us grad school rankings

No, you'd need an extra 100 points to aim at somewhere like Iowa State or Emory, for example.

I have got an admit from CSU East bay, CSU Northridge and University of Miami for an MBA program, Which one should i take ?
Posted Jun 27, 2013 12:11
Miami is probably going to have a better alumni network, and is more widely recognized (currently it's the only MBA program of the three ranked in US News.)
But these all have fairly local reaches, and the career services won't reach that far - so I'd recommend going where you want to work. For example if you want to end up in the Los Angeles area, go to Northridge, for the Bay Area, CSU East Bay.

I have got an admit from CSU East Bay for the MBA program. I am totally confused whether to take up the offer or not. I am based in Chennai, India , and what I am looking in the program is ,rich exposure and good employment opportunities. At the end of two years I do not want to be in a position where I am not able to find a job and I am forced to come back. Can you please give me your guidance please.

Well, if it's the best programme that you can get into then take it. I'm not sure they had good careers services there: it's not a very strong programme because students don't have very much work experience and many candidates are attracted by the ease of admissions, the modest time requirement and the low cost.
