Nyenrode

Hi Guys,
I have always thought about a MBA, but right now I am starting really a lot of years of experience so I can start thinking about EMBA.
In this moment I am an expat in the Netherlands, and I partecipate (just to try) to a challenge to win a grant in the Nyenrode university. I didn't win the total grant, but I won quite a good one 30k euros, so the cost of the master decreases fomr 47500 to 17500 euros)

The Nyenrode EMBA is now in the 85th posizione in th ft ranking, really well known in the netherlands but I don't know internationally.
I always thought to do a top ten mba (or emba) but the costs are really high, and the time schedule always challenging. Instead Nyenrode emba timeschedule is quite good 6 modules in two years, two weeks per module...

Ok what I am asking you is do you know Nyenrode school?
do you think that the EMBA worths 17500 euros???

Than you for your help
bye

That's a good price. Nyenrode was 69th in 2009, so it's falling but an okay programme.

I'd say that with that grant, it's a good price. But I don't think that overall, the program is as good as that of RSM's (or the associated OneMBA program.)

It's a little like TiasNIMBAS. Most candidates will get some sort of discount.

Yes. There's a revolving scholarship fund at Nyenrode that is funded by alumni donations. They expect that once you graduate, you'll be able to give back, basically.

Also, applicants from India, Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan are eligible to apply for TOEFL scholarships. Although these are fairly competitive, selected applicants from India are regularly awarded $5,000 to $10,000.

And there are a few other internationally-oriented scholarship programs like Orange Tulip that can help offset the cost of the program as well.
