Hello all, I am currently working in marketing but I have a goal of working in finance. I have read through some posts here and it's often the case that a Master in Finance seems to be better than an MBA for people who want to work in finance. I am curious to know why this is. It seems that an MBA has a higher value, no?

Yes but an MBA is not mostly about finance while a MiF is. And a good MiF is a little easier to get into, especially if you don't have MBA-type experience.
