Does anybody have any experience going to MBA tours? I see that there are a few coming up in various parts of the U.S., and I'm considering going. I was just curious to see if it would be worth it, in terms of getting to know the application process, or maybe just to get my business card to some of the schools I'd like to apply to. I wonder if going will improve my chances at all of getting into schools.
Some of the tours also have panels that cover subjects like getting financial aid, what to put in your application, etc. All of that sounds useful but I'm not sure how much I'd learn that I haven't already found on the internet.
