MBA in the US or India

I am from a very common MBA applicant pool (from India with a work history of IT). I am going to do an MBA next year but it's hard to figure out where I should go. I would like to have some international work experience but I don't know if it makes sense to me to go to the US if I don't wanna stay there for the long term (I will come back to India eventually)...

Does it make sense to do a PGP from ISB for example, or instead go do an MBA in the US from Boston University or Carnegie Mellon and then work for two years in the US? Do employers value international experience?

There are other countries than the US. Generally it's easier for MBAs to get a work permit in Australia, Canada or Singapore than the US. Take a look at:-
