foreign MBA recognized by US?

I got my MBA from one of the top schools in the Philippines in 2001. Is there any organization in the US that accredits the degree I got? Is the accreditation even needed?

Is your school already accredited by a regulatory body such as AMBA, EQUIS, AACBS, ACBSP or IACBE?

I didn't see it at AMBA and AACBS. The name of the school is Ateneo de Manila University-Graduate School of Business.

Hallo neo,

I have surfed for it, but i couldn't find this school on the ranking lists and it doesn't seem to be accredited by any of the important institutes. this is bad news i'm afraid, as this is what usually tells if the school is considered good or not!

but keep on searching, maybe there is some organization in the stats that recognizes this university,

Good luck,

Andy

Sorry, dude, but the AMBA, AACSB, and EQUIS are the top three accrediting bodies in the world. In the Philippines, ONLY the Asian Institute of Management is accredited by BOTH the AACSB and EQUIS. So if say, you get accepted in the US or any other country, they will accept you because of your work experience, NOT because of your school. Because a lot of schools there are AACSB-accredited.
