I would like to understand the EMBA Programs in Europe and how that would be helpful for someone from the US. Would it make sense? and how are the rankings for the EMBA programs

EMBA is dedicated to working professionals with much experience, such as 7 years and above. I don't think it would be helpful enough for a professional from the US. As a rule of thumb, study where you want to work. The EMBA rankings can be checked at FT EMBA ranking website.
