WHU-Otto MBA, Interview questions

AR

I might have a telephonic interview in a couple of days for the MBA program at WHU. Can any one recommend what questions should I expect.

Thanks

I think you can expect very open and qualitative questions. There's a trend generally towards behavioural questions - 'Tell me about a time when...' - where the interviewers want to know about the impact of your actions, and your ability to move easily between general questions about your background, and onto the experiences that you are proudest of and which you think best show the value of your contributions and the impact of the teams you have been part of. Also think about the three or four key leadership traits you have shown.

Specifically at WHU, the full-time programme says:
"Participants with a degree in law, engineering, or the natural sciences will benefit the most from the program. However, participants with a degree in business administration or economics will also find the program highly valuable because of the strong emphasis on integrating theory and practice, the experience of working in interdisciplinary, multicultural study groups and the opportunity to develop leadership and interpersonal skills in an international environment.
We look for a large variety of cultural and professional backgrounds among our students. We are interested in you as an individual as you are interested in the school in all its varieties."

I'd focus on speaking to those points, and how you are able to contribute towards those goals and realities in particular.

Hi,
What was your GMAT score and work experience. I am also planning to apply to WHU, hence the query.

Thanks.

Thanks Duncan,

The First interview went well, However now I am scheduled for another interview with the program director. Any tips on that.
