Hi All,
i need some serious advice on Msc in finance course from Frankfurt school of finance and mangement.
A little bit of background of myself
1) have 6 years of IT experience(Software testing).
2) have been handling a team of 10-20 members from last 2 years.
3) have worked on banking and telecom related domain, but it was always testing thair application.
I always wanted to move into finance side , intially i thought after having couple of years experience , i will do an MBA in finance.
But recently i was surifng the net for some finance course and i found about the MSc course which frankfurt school of finance and management are giving. After going through the subjects offered i felt this will be a good one as it starts from the basic and moves towards advance courses.
However i have few dilema:
1) do people do Msc after some many years of experience.
2) Even if i do MBA in finance it will be a career change and i might considered as a sarted there as well but they might take account the years of experience i already had. Will that be the case if i do Msc.
3) If anybody has any knowledge on this school kindly post ?
4) Folks i serious need adivse whether i should go for this course or not , my main fear is "am i making any wrong Decision
Kindly help

I think the program looks solid for someone who knows exactly what they want to focus in their career path.
MS is is a very specific degree, unlike MBA which covers more broadly.
My concern is that there's no time for you for internship, which can be crucial to land a job in finance. Additional concerns are EU work permit and fluency in local language.
If you are not planning to stay in german after graduation, you shouldn't worry about work permit and local language skill.
You should ask these concerns to the school and see how they reply your queries.
