Hi all, Could some one throw lights on the below question.
I have short listed 5 B schools in UK for the reasons such as cost, duration, low stress on GMAT/TOEFL and pretty decent reputation.
Imperial MBA 40K GBP,
Lancaster MBA, 40K GBP
Aston 30K GBP,
Bradford MBA 20K GBP
Birmingham MBA 20K GBP
All the fee includes fee and stay. Please suggest me which one to go as I need to take low fee and good reputation for international students....I have not applied still and I am a self funded student....

Imperial costs 36000 pounds and Lancaster 26000 ... how come they will cost you 40000 pounds considering living costs? Do you live in London?

Lancaster is one of the few Uni. charging less for the emba than the full-time options (19500 against 26000).

Hi, sorry I missed it while doing the copy paste from excel...sorry once again for that...however regarding the Imperial I have included the cost of living in london plus the fee that accounts to 38+14=52 K considering 10k on scholarships after going thorough the schools website....Lancaster calculation is 26+10=36 and minus 5 scholarship equals 31K

Focussing on costs points you in the wrong direction. Focus on the expected value of the outcomes. Get into the best programme you can. The added value of a better programme is tiny compared to the extra cost.

Yes, if you focus that are in the rankings, and then those with the highest salary, then you'll do well.

Great Duncan, thanks...If possible could you please let me know if the guys from these colleges has made to TECH giants?

Yes, all of these schools are good for that, especially Imperial and Bradford.
In terms of their MBA alumni base in IT firms (IBM, Oracle etc), I'd rank them like this: Imperial > Bradford > Aston and Birmingham equally > Lancaster.
If you were expand from core tech to including consulting and telecoms, then it would be Imperial > Bradford > Birmingham > Lancaster > Aston.
