Master's programms in luxury sector. Please HELP!

Hello, everyone! My name is Margarita. I am from Russia. I have just graduated from the univercity. I got a bachelor's degree in Managment. I am really addicted to everything luxury. I want to get a good job in this sphere. So, I decided, that I have to take a Master's study in some of univercities or colleges in Europe. I have found two revallent courses. First one is MA Luxury Brand Management in European Business school (Regent's college, London). Second is Master in Luxury Goods and Services in International Univercity of Monaco. I really do not know, which one to choose. I love everything English. I am interested in history and culture of GB. London is a big city with big opportunities and possibilities. I am worrying about Monaco. I am not sure, that it is a good place to live in. Furthermore, I think, that I would have to study french if I decided to stay in France. Please, help me to make the right choise.

Take a look at www.find-mba.com/board/24603 and use the search function on the discussion boards. Don't expect that these programmes will make you any more likely to find work in the luxury sector. There is no shortage of talent in that sector.

Have you considered ESMOD? They have programs that combine business + fashion. There are also programs in English, even in Paris.

Do you know what the placement rate and average salary is for non EU graduates from Esmode? I don't see anything to suggest that Esmode has good outcomes for students looking for MBA level roles in the luxury industry.

Hi Duncan,
I don't know if there is anything published officially; this website states 75-85% placement, but there's no way to tell whether the quality of these placements are high caliber. (see link below)

ESMOD might be good for the person who started this thread since there are different programs for people at different phases in their careers. There are also programs tailored to people with both fashion and "business of fashion" goals in mind.

Dear all,
I am having a similar problem, I would apreciate your help.
I am a Peruvian designer who wants to specialize in the fashion and luxury business.
For that, I am considering an english master in France (not over 18000 euros)
Among my possible options are:
SKEMA business school
ISC paris (International Master in Luxury Business)
PSB paris school of business
The program at Skema seems good but I am a little concern with the fact that it is not located at paris where most luxury companies operate.
On the other hand, PSB ans ISC are in paris and that would allow me a wider network, however I dont know how good is their reputation and education program.
I know that the best masters are the ones at Essec, Bocconi, Emlyon, HEC but unfortunately I cannot afford to pay more that 20euros.
Thank you in advance, I am looking forward for your opinion.

hi,
I want to pursue my MBA in luxury, however I do not have the relevant work exp. I have done my B.com with accounting and finance, thereafter I have 1 yr retail, 2 yrs KPMG audit exp and currently I am working as a consultant on a luxury project. What schools can I look at which will be good for employment in big brands. Also the GMAT range.

Top Business Schools for Luxury Brand Management

Top List

From Armani to Versace and Ralph Lauren, luxury brands accounted for over $300 billion in 2021 alone, by some estimates. And with surging demand from the emerging middle classes in countries like India and China, the industry is poised for more growth.

An MBA in Luxury Brand Management can lead to a variety of jobs in this sector, including roles like marketing managers, business development consultants, and brand managers. Some schools offer specialized MBA programs in Luxury, as well as related fields like Fashion or Retail.

Many students interested in breaking into the luxury sector gravitate to hubs like Paris or Milan, where many of the top firms are based; others go to New York City or London to be in the heart of the action. Being near to luxury firms can help with networking opportunities; some students also opt to pursue MBA internships in luxury firms, for hands-on experience in the sector.
