Hi everyone. I'm looking at applying to universities in europe for marketing 2011 intake. Can anybody please help me out with the top colleges known for marketing?
The colleges i ve looked at so far are warwick, bath, imperial and leeds. Can someone also tell me how good ESCP is for marketing? Really appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Hi there -- Those are good UK marketing programs on your list. Also check out IESE, INSEAD, HEC Paris, SDA Bocconi and Mannheim on the continent.
Good luck!

Hi evan. Thanks for that. But most of those uni's need work experience. i have only about 6 months of work ex . so can you suggest some uni's which don't really need work ex and have specific marketing courses?

Nope, sorry. Unfortunately, any MBA program worth its salt (and tuition) will require at least 1-2 years of work experience. What about MiM or MSc programs? There are marketing specializations for those, too, I think.

Hi Neham,
I am responsible for the admissions at ESCP Europe and I have seen your post. I just want to let you know that if you wish to visit the campus and have more information on the programme we would be happy to meet you for an informal chat. We also hold regular Open Days on campus, the next one is on October 29th.
Please feel free to contact my colleague Anna Borsarelli ([email protected]) for further information. She could also put you in touch with some of our students who can tell you more about their personal experience.
I hope this helps,
Linda

I think that most notable schools will require that you have some experience. If you have already put in half a year, you should consider doing another 6 months and then applying. With all of the work and money you will be doing, I think it would be most beneficial for you to a school totally worth it - not just to impatiently jump the gun without the prerequisits.

This is probably the best advice for somebody who has little to no work experience. There are programs out there that do not require work experience, but in the end your better investment is to jump into the job market for at least two years and then come back for an MBA - not only in terms of future employment (your wages will undoubtedly be higher with more work experience,) but also simply to make the best use of an MBA - the programs are infinitely more helpful if you have something to relate the concepts to.
