I am looking at a potential admission in GISMA hannover and would like some insight on the following concerns.
i am from india and have completed my bachelors in mechanical engineering in 2015 .
my questions are:
Entry requirements for the program state that one needs to have a gmat score of 600 or a levelling course. please let me know if GMAT is compulsory and if not, what are the other prerequisites that one needs to have to be eligible for the program.
Is there any work experience needed or am I considered eligible for the same even after considering my cv? (please refer to my cv that has been attached with this mail)
What is the further process of application and also the approximate time that the admission process will take until enrolment?
What is the criterion for enrolment and on what basis are the candidates proven fit for GISMA?
How will learning german affect my employability and what are the possibilities of employment while I am studying MBA?
What are the details of cost of living and the accommodation facilities at Hannover? Will GISMA help me with recommendations on the same?
What is ACCA and what are my possibilities of enrolling for ACCA?
Are there any tie ups with LONDON SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND FINANCE like student exchange programs or international internships?
What is the edge gained by GUS that sets it apart from PURDUE university?
What are the deadlines for application, admission and commencement of coursework for oct 2015 and feb 2016. Also, would I be eligible for feb 2016 intake?
Will I be able to gain information on the past placements and the statistics from the previous batches at GISMA?
What is the role of MSM NETHERLANDS in the masters of management program at GISMA?

Past intakes will not be a useful guide. Other than the name, the.GUS GISMA is very different from the excellent Purdue program. Look for alternatives.

What are my other alternatives with no work experience?

Look at the schools in the FT masters in management or masters in finance ranking. Also read:-

If you're looking specifically at Germany (although I would advise that without German, your work possibilities in the country are slim...) there are many good masters in management programs for those without work experience. Check out the offerings from ESCP, WHU Beisheim, Mannheim, HHL, University of Cologne...

Hello Duncan,
I am from India and looking for MBA in germany. I have already checked some of the colleges like IUBH, GISMA Berlin. I dont have much good grades in Engineering that's why i am looking for average colleges.
I have applied for Grenoble MBA in GISMA Business School Berlin but due to some of the Mixed reviews about the college, i am confused whether to apply and proceed further or should i try for other colleges such as IUBH.
Please guide me!!!

What are your goals? Why are you looking around courses taught in English in Germany? How good is your German?
Posted Aug 29, 2017 22:06
My goals is to study and work in germany and i have started learning german. And i am looking forward to get an admission in january 2018 intake.
Posted Aug 29, 2017 23:08
Unless you will speak German fluently in January these schools will not lead to your goals.
Posted Aug 30, 2017 07:21
I will try to complete it before january but i have to start the admission procedure from now so could you advise me which college is better is IUBH better than gisma berlin???
Posted Aug 30, 2017 10:45
Neither of these are likely to meet your goals unless you are already most of the way to fluency. Why not come to Germany in January and study for the DSH, and then a masters, at an inexpensive state university.

Can you share more details about DSH?? As i am not aware about DSH.

Focus on the schools that will help you meet your career goals. Get a good GMAT to compensate for your low grades. If you want to move to Germany, learn German before starting the degree and study in the German language.

What are your goals? In any case, I would focus on schools that have accreditation from AMBA, EQUIS, or AACSB.
