If you're interested in MAFED, you may also want to look at Alma Graduate School's Design, Fashion & Luxury Goods MBA program in Bologna, Italy. The school has relationships with companies such as Ferrari, Bulgari, Max Mara, Giuseppe Zanotti, Tod's, etc. Many of the courses are taught by high-level executives of successful firms. Our Gemology & Watches course was taught by the managing director of Bulgari. When I asked him about the new MBA that Bocconi partnered with Bulgari to offer, he said that he feels that Alma's program is better than what they are doing at Bocconi, saying that they have is more so "a good brand".

The school's admission process is still going and they offer many scholarships and also offer honor loans that cover tuition (whatever is not covered by scholarship, if any) PLUS ?10k for living expenses. The relationships with these firms and the honor loan were the big draws for me and I am extremely pleased with my decision! You can send a pm if you have any questions.
