Katz EMBA vs. Chapman MBA in Prague

I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for me.

I'm looking at business programs in Prague, and have found the Katz EMBA and the Chapman MBA programs. The Katz program is about three times as much as the Chapman one - is this reflected in the value of the degree after graduation? I'm leaning towards the Chapman one because of the price.

My background: I'm a media professional currently living in France while my wife is finishing up her studies here. The reason why I want to go to Prague is that I would like to get insight into how business works (and connections) in Eastern Europe. I like the weekend schedule of each of these MBA programs - are there similar ones in Eastern Europe that I might explore as well?

How will a US MBA help you to understand business in eastern Europe? If you spent that time and money on taking people to lunch, you would be the best connected person you know.

Fair enough. I am open to other schools if you have suggestions. It's just that these are the only two that I could find in the city which were accredited by AACSB.

Indeed, but I'm just wondering about your goals and how far they are met by an MBA. If you want connections across the region, then by limit yourself to Prague or to an MBA? If you want connections in the Czech Republic, then why not take an intensive Czech course?

Certainly I'd look at schools in Vienna and Budapest.

Thanks for the recommendation. I actually found the WU Executive Academy's part time MBA - looks good!
