Hello, I am from France but I have lived in the US for over 4 years. I would like to move back to France and do an MBA in entrepreneurship and then launch a start up afterward.
My idea is that it would probably be better to be in Paris because it is a good city to launch a start up. However I have read that Emlyon is a better school for entrepreneurs.
I do not know what to do. I could consider doing an EMBA from CNAM in French but I do not think that this is the best school for my career goal.
HEC or Emlyon

Will your start-up need major investment? If so, HEC might be the best place to make the connections you need. To bootstrap a start-up, Lyon makes sense especially if the clusters around Lyon like tech and biotech are useful.

EMLYON will most likely have more resources for potential entrepreneurs. But Duncan's right, the VC money will be in Paris.
Just throwing this out there but have you considered INSEAD? Through the Centre for Entrepreneurship, the school has a ton of resources for startups and Paris is not that far away.

Thanks, no I hadn't considered INSEAD. I am seriously considering Emlyon because there seems to be a lot of support for entrepreneurs, and without going into to many details I will not need major start up money. I am mainly looking for (1) tested entrepreneurial curriculum and (2) support in terms of guidance and mentorship, along with ideally (3) some kind of facilities support like an accelerator.

In that case either an MBA or the MSc in entrepreneurship and EM Lyon could be ideal.
